>From Yvette. Still need to address concerns raised by Gregg, Michael, and Ben as well as Loretta. These commenters don't feel that "measuring redability" is actually a technique-- it's reall a test. Still trying to figure out how best to represent it. There are only two *techniques* where it would make sense to list measuring readability in the Test section: - Providing a text summary (where the summary itself has to be tested for readability) - Providing visual illustrations (where it might make sense to test the readability of specific passages that describe ideas or processes to see if they warrant visual illustration, but that's not really what the SC says) A third one would be (a new technique) Making text easier to read, where the readability test would be applied to rewritten text to see if it gets a better readability score.
