I've been updating the Site Map technique to address the comments in the last survey: http://trace.wisc.edu/wcag_wiki/index.php?title=Providing_a_Site_Map#Descrip tion I've added the property that every page that is linked from the Site Map also has a link back to the Site Map. This was to address the issue of whether all pages needed a link to the Site Map. I tried to add a comment about the Site Map itself being accessible, but couldn't find a way to way that. Any suggestions? I agree that the more complex site maps are hard to make accessible with current technology. If there were an "advisory techniques" section of a technique, I'd suggest moving them there. Perhaps we should just delete them if we can't find a way to say that they need to be accessible. I didn't know what to do with David's suggested common failure. Should we add it, that is, do we think it is a failure? It feels like it put us in the position of requiring Site Map links on every page. Loretta
