please look over Compound Document Formats issue

In last week's Hypertext Coordination Group call, the Compound
Document Formats WG requested feedback on their issue as to

"how to identify (as with a MIME type) the content profile of a
compound document?"

The issue is reviewed in the following appendix which should be
treated as a Request for Comments:

http://www.w3.org/TR/WICD/#media-type-argument

It seemed to me that this problem is like "how do you tell User
Agents what [natural] languages are in a document when there are more
than one?"

In particular, any arguments that have convinced us one should not
simply rely on HTTP header field values (there are none for websites
distributed on CD) need to be brought forward.
