Based on discussions at the September 29, 2005 Working group meeting. I
have updated my proposed combined HTML technique for acronyms and
abbreviations. I modified the User Agent section to specify that IE does
not provide any visual rendering of <abbr> elements rather than saying it
does not support the <abbr> element. I added a few sentences to talk
about using the meaning of the abbreviation rather than the actual
translation and provided an additional code example.
Is this ready for the larger group?
