Hi all, I received an action item from the last team A meeting to look into Bug 1568 [1]: "the glossary defines a change in focus as a change in context so this SC doesn't make sense." This issue has been raised in relation to Guideline 3.2 Level 1 Success Criteria 1 [2] "When any component receives focus, it does not cause a change of context." A change in focus is not the same as receiving focus. As Andi Snow-Weaver raised this issue, I think it adds weight that we do provide a definition for focus and receives focus. If it's difficult to understand by members of the working group, there's a good chance it could be misinterpreted by those who have not been involved or following the progress of WCAG 2.0. I read in the minutes of the 29th September meeting [3] that there was a resolution from the working group not to define focus, and Andi was present at the meeting.
