Re: Yesterdays Symposium

Hi all,

I was thinking to answer thiose emails by audio recording a message so that
you don't forget my voice!... but since I got used to wirtting yesterday...
I will continue this way!

It's really a mixed feeling. On one hand there is the big disappointment
from yesterdays problems. I was anticipating this symposium so much and
yesterday's problems did not let me really enjoy it. On the other hand
seeing the transcipts evolve and the discussions in irc blooming I
undesrtand that all preparations paid off. Thankfully! My feeling from the
discussions on irc is that the symposium was very engaging and interesting
for the audience. I was really surprised with that.

So thanks Annika and Vivienne for handling in the most proffessional way
the problems and Shadi for his efforts on the background.

Hope to (finally) hear you all in the next week's meeting.

Regards,
Christos

PS. Food for though, for future symposia. Is it possible to eliminate the
traffic on the lines and maximise participation by having chairs and
authros on the line and broadcast audio to everyone interested? They can
then send questions and thoughts via irc or call in the last open session
part.
