Thanks for this Klaus and Shawn. WRT the new text: Related topics may be addressed in additional symposia, such as easy-to-read (E2R) language; assistive technologies and personal assistance for text illustration and enrichment (e.g., text annotation with symbols, pictures, and multimedia content; audio display and information design); and text conversion and machine translation. http://www.w3.org/WAI/RD/wiki/Topic_3_pre-call My view is that this is not very concrete - E2R is the only symposium we have agreed - I wonder if we should not just say that Easy to Read will be our next topic (and ref it), leaving the rest as we have no plans to create symposia in our first charter period (otherwise it seems a little misleading with people waiting for symposia that may not materialise). Cheers Si. PS I check my email at 08:00 and 17:00 GMT. If you require a faster response please include the word 'fast' in the subject line. ======================= Simon Harper http://simon.harper.name/about/card/ University of Manchester (UK) Web Ergonomics Lab - Information Management Group http://wel.cs.manchester.ac.uk On 24/05/2012 09:40, Klaus Miesenberger wrote: > Simon, Shawn, > If we could alter the sentence "Related topics, such as easy-to-read > language, may also be addressed in this or another symposium" > to > "Related topics, such as Easy-to-Read (E2R) language including > Assistive Technologies and personal assistance for > - (Text Customisation) > - Text Illustration and Enrichment: text annotation with symbols, > pictures and multi media content, audio display and information design > - Text Conversion and (Machine) Translation > - Personal Assistance > will be addressed in one or more additional symposia." > Klaus > > > a.Univ.Prof.Dr. Klaus Miesenberger > University of Linz, Institut Integriert Studieren > Altenbergerstrasse 69, A-4040 Linz > klaus.miesenberger@jku.at <mailto:klaus.miesenberger@jku.at>, > http://www.integriert-studieren.jku.at/ > Tel: +43-732-2468-9232 Fax: ...-9322 > > International Conference on Computers Helping People with Special > Needs, ICCHP: http://www.icchp.org <http://www.icchp.org/> > International Camps on Computers&Communication, ICC: > http://www.icc-camp.info/ > Association for the Advancement for Assistive Technology in Europe, > AAATE: www.aaate.net <http://www.aaate.net/> > eAccess+ The eAccessibility newtork: www.eaccessplus.eu > <http://www.eaccessplus.eu/> > Austrian Computer Society, OCG: www.ocg.at/ <http://www.ocg.at/> > >>> Simon Harper <simon.harper@manchester.ac.uk> 24.05.2012 10:03 >>> > Hi Klaus, > > Good news - thanks!
