RE: Website scope

Regarding the 'accessibility support baseline' that we decided to include in the methodology. Proposal to say:

"4. Accessibility support baseline: Please use recent or new versions of software and hardware for the evaluation. Report the software and hardware that you have used for the evaluation in the report including information about the webbrowser, assistive technologies and other user agents that you have used for the evaluation"

This way we leave it open to the evaluator to decide what he or she wants to use (or normally uses for evaluations).

Kindest regards,

Eric

Onderwerp: Website scope

Dear all,

In the last telco we decided to start the evaluation testrun of WCAG-EM with one site. We chose the 4-H website to start with. Please review the scope proposal below before monday afternoon.

The website is: http://4h.msue.msu.edu/

1. Name of the website: 4-H website
2. Scope of the website (What is inside and what is outside the scope):
Everything on the website: http://4h.msue.msu.edu/
Not included in evaluation: http://msue.anr.msu.edu/.….
3. Conformance target: WCAG2.0 - level AA
4. Accessibility support baseline: Latest version of web browsers, assistive technologies, and other user agents that were available in 2013. Please describe in your evaluation reporting
5. Evaluation methods to be used (optional): n/a
6. Additional evaluation requirements (optional): n/a

In the next telco we will discuss how we can also look at other websites or ask nominations for websites to test WCAG-EM from the public.

Kindest regards,

Eric
