Hi folks, as I understand it, this is meant to cover the use case where an assertion is made by a person and/or tool, but there is no atomic information about who did what - e.g. 1000 pages were tested by some organisation using Bobby and some human tests, and the results are mode mixed rather than identifying that result X was the person, result Y the tool, etc. So where you want to be explicit that a person verified something, having been guided by a tool, and is actually responsible for the entire result, you would use Assertion mode manual assertedBy CompoundAssertor mainAssertor foaf:Person chaals helpAssertor earl:Software hera ... Does this tally with what everyone remembers? This issue is noted in the new schema draft at http://www.w3.org/WAI/ER/EARL10/WD-EARL10-Schema-20060101#testmode - thanks Shadi for publishing it. cheers Chaals -- Charles McCathieNevile chaals@opera.com hablo español - je parle français - jeg lærer norsk Peek into the kitchen: http://snapshot.opera.com/
