Hello Shawn, Upon going to the getting started page, the items under item A are announced with a ? or a + prefix. ... graphic ?[Alternative Browsing] graphic +Quick Tips Did not experience the ? on the WAI Groups (D) link. All 9 items have a plus. So what does the ?image signify? 2. I think the skip to content is yet to be fixedon all pages... it should take focus to the h1, right? 3. There appear to be two h2 headings called Site Navigation on all the A, B, C, D links. are the search and site map links meant to be outside the first site nav h2? Perhaps the first h2 can bedone away with. 4. Drop the "photo of" prefix from alt for images. JAWS for instance announces that it is a graphic. (OK this is not navigation related) Yes it is now much clearer with the A, B, C numbering and the quicklinks combo and it announces current page. We will be discussing this on the upcoming Monday WSTF teleconference and it would be great if you could join or send your comments beforehand. ~ Shawn > -----Original Message----- > From: Shawn Lawton Henry [mailto:shawn@w3.org] > Sent: Tuesday, October 26, 2004 4:39 PM > To: 'Sailesh Panchang'; 'public-wai-eo-site@w3.org' > Subject: RE: usability testing notes - RE: WSTF Agenda for 25 > October 2004 > > > From: Sailesh Panchang [mailto:sailesh.panchang@deque.com] > (http://www.w3.org/2004/09/wai-nav/8-gr.html) > Normally in other menus I have seen, the plus sign is a link > and so is the text adjacent to it. > Is selecting the plus link and the adjacent text link > supposed to produce the same effect?
