Setting the tone....PR

Remember your user.....not everyone is going to like just bullets. 
You are jumping from one frying pan into another. I think you need to 
consider a happy medium not extremes.  The introductory sentence sets 
the tone. You need tone to frame your bullets. It is your PR piece 
and critical to making the content of the blurb work.

Here is my suggestion (see below - I used Shawn's bullets). It sets 
the tone for the bullets. It adds the spin of purpose - web 
accessibility. It highlights standards harmonization and 
international collaboration. Yet, it leaves the bullets as succinct, 
eye-skimming pieces to grab  if you want to and ignore if you don't 
want to read......
