Agenda:

agenda+ FYIs on proposals to redefine scope for module "Inclusive Design Process"
https://deploy-preview-347--wai-curricula.netlify.app/curricula/designer-modules/inclusive-design-process/

- Made it clearer that not every organization does user research
- Focused responsibilities of user researchers to assess and communicate the need for involving people with disabilities depending
on project scope.
- Removed mentions to specific user research activities that may wrongly suggest that organizations that do not conduct these
activities cannot involve people with disabilities

agenda+ [New] Topic "Assessing Involvement of People with Disabilities".
https://deploy-preview-347--wai-curricula.netlify.app/curricula/designer-modules/inclusive-design-process/#topic-assessing-the-invo
lvement-of-people-with-disabilities

- Describes potential benefits of involving people with disabilities and risks of not involving people with disabilities.
- Addresses mainly user researchers. They should be aware that it is important to involve people with disabilities but they don't
make the final decision as to how this involvement occurs (if it occurs at all).

Do you think this topic clarifies the responsibilities of user researchers and differentiates them from those of other team
members?

agenda+ Redefined scope for last topic.
https://deploy-preview-347--wai-curricula.netlify.app/curricula/designer-modules/inclusive-design-process/#topic-including-real-peo
ple-with-disabilities

- Now "Including Real People with Disabilities", previously "Usability Testing".
- Aspects discussed in this topic apply to a wider range of activities than user testing, so its scope has been broadened.

Do you agree with this new approach?

agenda+ Position of "Inclusive Design Process" with respect to the whole designer modules sequence

Previously this module was the first in the sequence, now we are proposing to have it last, because;

- WCAG does not get into specifics on how to involve people with disabilities.
- Activities related to involving people with disabilities may not be conducted by all designers.

Do you agree with putting "Inclusive Design Process" last in designer modules?
