Re: Seeking input on a couple of proposals

Hi Daniel,

Here are my 2 cents.

For module 3, I'm not sure I understood what you meant. If we are going to
have topics per use case of image types (or any other element) then our
list of topics would grow really large, I imagine. We should be able to
include a sample of use cases in each of the existing topics if that is
required.

Regarding module 6, I tend to introduce WAI-ARIA upfront immediately after
introducing HTML5 semantic elements (my students have prior knowledge of
HTML). Anyway, this curriculum makes "extensive" use of WAI-ARIA concepts
before reaching the last module. During our last meeting we even discussed
adding knowledge of WAI-ARIA as a prerequisite for some modules. From this
perspective, it is strange to find a topic introducing WAI-ARIA at the
start of module 6. That being said, I find your suggestion of introducing
progressive enhancement here, something that we could explore. Widgets
would be a nice subject to show some of the benefits of progressive
enhancement, I believe.

Have a nice weekend!
Carlos
