Judy: Notes APA hoping to go W3C Statement on this CAPTCHA update

   janina_: Sure hope so!

brentb: Do we need an intro page on the WAI site for the next note? CAPTCHA?

   shawn: Notes EO overview pages

   https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-apa-admin/2021Dec/0000.html

   <shawn> examples: https://www.w3.org/WAI/pronunciation/ & https://www.w3.org/WAI/personalization/

[discussion whether Explainer should really be TR]

Judy: Notes PLH typically cc's on high profile publications

Judy: We do need many people, more than active in Silver, following WCAG3 development and seeing progress

Judy: Encourages meaningful messaging with each draft, even if light messaging

MichaelC: Believe Jeanne's messaging accomplishes that; and is also in SOTD

MichaelC: Also ARIA 1.2 2nd CR coming; doesn't need messaging particularly

International Day of Persons with Disabilities: reaching out around WAI work

   <shawn> https://www.w3.org/blog/?p=20477&shareadraft=baba20477_61a59464e54fe

  new work fyi's

MichaelC: Suggests discussing Maturity Model; compliments Conformance in AGWG for WCAG 3 -- Early proposal

MichaelC: AGWG doesn't have time; Suggestion to move to APA; Or maybe a Community Group?

MichaelC: Suggestion is that it's new work

shawn: Unsure of how Maturity Model fits where

<Zakim> shawn, you wanted to be a wet blanket

Michael: Believe it's a priority for some people; but not others

<Zakim> shawn, you wanted to say where

shawn: Concerned that it not be in too small a group; and be careful about expectations

janina_: I'm enticed by the process over time aspect of MM

Michael: Better to foster the people with the passion to work on their deliverable

   +1 to that

   shawn: Open invitation

   shawn: will invite all groups

<Zakim> shawn, you wanted to IP still a speparate issue. LVTF still has isues

[discussion on how to build the LVTF]

<shawn> Shawn IP issue still needs followup from W3C

<shawn> Shawn: IP issue still needs followup from W3C

<Judy> JB confirms that this is actively on my plate, but also may need more info from MC or SLH, will let you know if so.

shawn: Would appreciate input on how to position these

shawn: It could take forever far too easily
