The goal of this conference is to advance the discussion around accessible digital content and publications for people with print disabilities and, more specifically, changes and advancements of digital publications that will improve the culture of accessibility in the education field. We encourage you to share your expertise! Broad presentation topics include, but are not limited to: * Digital Publishing in Higher Education * New Inclusive Publishing Standards * Emerging Publishing Technology * Creating Accessible Digital Content (HTML, PDF, EPUB) * Best Practices * Emerging Book Reader Devices * Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM): Creating Accessible Complex Content using Mathematical Markup Language (MathML) * Graphical Content Accessibility * Accessibility of Electronic Case Filing for Attorneys * Open Education Resources (OER) Accessibility * K-12 Accessibility Solutions * Law Related to Providing Accessible Content * Any Additional Relevant Topics Presentations are thirty or sixty minutes in length. Please include the following in your submission: 1. First and last name 2. Name of organization and/or affiliation 3. Email address and telephone number 4. Title of presentation 5. Objective of presentation 6. Description of presentation (No longer than one page; Bullet points are fine as long as planned content is clearly set forth) 7. Time length (thirty or sixty minutes) 8. A brief speaker's biography 9. A Zoom platform presentation plan The deadline to submit proposals is July 27, 2020, and notifications of acceptance of proposals will be provided on or before August 10, 2020. The registration fee for this virtual conference will be $25. Accepted presenters will not have to pay a registration fee.
