W3C WAI sessions available virtually 9-12 May

Dear WAI Interest Group participants,

W3C WAI Education and Outreach Working Group (EOWG) participants will be participating in the hybrid AccessU training conference 9-12 May. It's in-person in Austin, Texas and online so you can participate virtually from your own office.

* WAI and You: Working Together to Advance Digital Accessibility -- On Wednesday 10 May Shawn Lawton Henry will lead an interactive plenary session where you can find out about new and surprising free resources.[1]

* WAI feedback sessions -- You can get a hands-on sneak peak at a new project and draft website redesigns. Sit down one-on-one with an EOWG participant to share your input.
If you will be participating in the conference and are interested in a feedback session, please e-mail your contact information to (the W3C-staff-only list): wai-eo-call@w3.org

Find out about new and surprising free resources from the organization that develops Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG): The W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI).

WAI resources help you create an environment where accessibility flourishes — whether you need to better understand how people use the web, train developers new to accessibility, help content creators understand alternatives for multimedia, integrate accessibility into a project plan, write an accessibility statement or policy, or meet international standards.

In this interactive session, you'll learn where to find answers to your accessibility questions on the WAI website and how to help advance digital accessibility by sharing your insights with other WAI contributors — at AccessU and beyond.
