Dear WAI Interest Group, On 8 December 2021 the Accessible Rich Internet Applications Working Group published an updated Candidate Recommendation of Accessible Rich Internet Applications (WAI-ARIA) 1.2: https://www.w3.org/TR/wai-aria-1.2/ We request feedback by *4 February 2022*. This is an extension from the deadline in the document, to allow for reasonable review time. To share implementations or comment, please open a new issue in the w3c aria GitHub repository: https://github.com/w3c/aria/issues/new If this is not feasible, send email to: public-aria@w3.org In-progress updates to the document are available in the Editors' Draft at: https://w3c.github.io/aria/ The purpose of Candidate Recommendations (CR) is to gather implementation experience. The Working Group aims to complete the implementation report and advance to Proposed Recommendation (PR) in March 2022. To learn more about CR and PR, see: How WAI Develops Accessibility Standards through the W3C Process https://www.w3.org/WAI/standards-guidelines/w3c-process/ Regards, James Nurthen, ARIA Working Group Co-Chair Michael Cooper, W3C Staff Contact for ARIA Working Group
