For Wide Review: Synchronization Accessibility User Requirements (SAUR)

Dear WAI Interest Group,

W3C WAI invites you to comment on the updated Working Draft of:
 Synchronization Accessibility User Requirements (SAUR)
 https://www.w3.org/TR/saur

Background: SAUR describes accessibility user needs and requirements for audio and visual media synchronization. It discusses synchronization of accessibility-related components of multimedia, such as captions, sign language interpretation, and description. The requirements are applicable to multimedia content in general, and also to real-time communication applications and media in immersive environments. SAUR may influence further development of W3C specifications, including accessibility guidelines and media-related technologies. It may also be applied to the development of multimedia content and applications to enhance accessibility. Additional information is in the blog post at <https://www.w3.org/blog/2021/09/synchronization-accessibility-user-requirements-call-for-review/>

We received valuable comments on the First Public Working Draft from September 2021. We have addressed those comments in this updated draft for "wide review". We look forward to any additional input that should be addressed before this document is finalized and published as a W3C Note.
