For Review: XR Accessibility User Requirements (XAUR) Working Draft - for virtual reality, immersive environments, and more

Dear WAI Interest Group,

WAI’s Research Questions Task Force (RQTF) and Accessible Platform Architectures (APA) Working Group invite you to comment on the updated Working Draft of a W3C Working Group Note:
 XR Accessibility User Requirements (XAUR)
 https://www.w3.org/TR/xaur/

Background: The XAUR document describes the needs of people with disabilities in virtual or immersive environments (XR). It includes requirements for XR to be accessible. XAUR is for designers and developers who are involved in creating XR experiences. It is also useful for anyone who wants to better understand XR accessibility. This second draft is a result of great feedback and input that we received and now contains new requirements.

For more background information, see previous blog post:

Changes: For a detailed list of changes since the last publication, see the changelog section:

Review and Comments: We particularly would like input on any user needs or requirements that are missing from this draft. To comment, please open a new issue in the APA GitHub repository, and add the “XAUR” label:
