New Online Course and Curricula: Introduction to Web Accessibility

Dear WAI Interest Group,

Today on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, we are announcing a new online course:
 Introduction to Web Accessibility
 https://www.edx.org/course/web-accessibility-introduction

From this course, you get a strong foundation in digital accessibility to make your websites and apps work well for people with disabilities, meet international standards, and provide a better user experience for everyone.

In addition to offering an introduction for people who are new to accessibility, this course helps people who already know about accessibility fill in gaps. It is designed *for technical and non-technical* audiences.

Learn more about the course in the blog post: Free Online Course “Introduction to Web Accessibility”
 https://www.w3.org/blog/2019/12/free-online-course-introduction-to-web-accessibility/

You can enroll now. The course will start on 28 January 2020 and is self-paced.

It is based on the open curricula from the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) Education and Outreach Working Group (EOWG):
