Dear Task Force, As per schedule, we are meeting this Wednesday (6 May) at the usual time: http://www.w3.org/WAI/EO/wai-age/teleconf.html#meetings Teleconference Bridge: +33.4.89.06.34.99 / +44.117.370.6152 / +1.617.761.6200 Teleconference code: 9243# (WAGE#) IRC: Channel - #waiage; server - irc.w3.org; port - 6665 Scribe: Helle (Suzette) http://www.w3.org/WAI/EO/wai-age/teleconf.html#scribes *Agenda:* 1. *Welcome* 2. *Before and After Demonstration* The updated version of the Draft BAD pages is currently being installed and Shadi will provide the link shortly along with some points to focus our discussion. Shadi will walk us through the integrated WAI-AGE and WCAG 2.0 improvements. The requirements for the update are at: http://www.w3.org/WAI/EO/2005/Demo/changelog 3. *Involving Users* This is a new document we will work on next to update: - change log: http://www.w3.org/WAI/EO/changelogs/cl-impl-users.html - original document: http://www.w3.org/WAI/eval/users.html The plan is to expand this document to encourage the involvement of users, including older users, early in the design and development process and throughout - not just during Accessibility Evaluation which often occurs after a site is released. Questions: - Is the 'Purpose, Goals, Objectives' clear? Defined enough? Too broad? - Is the 'Audience' focused correctly? - How long should the document be? What are the obvious improvements we can make to the existing document? 4. *Business Case* Just a reminder that this is open for final review and comment through EOWG - WAI-AGE task force members are encouraged to respond: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/w3c-wai-eo/2009AprJun/0060.html Regards, Andrew -- Andrew Arch Web Accessibility and Ageing Specialist http://www.w3.org/People/Andrew/ http://www.w3.org/WAI/WAI-AGE/
