That was essentially my question too; I can’t work out where we are on this issue. I *think* that the suggestion <https://github.com/w3c/w3process/issues/312#issuecomment-760162537> is what we should be doing, but I’d like to make sure we agree. I’m trying to tie up loose ends here.

The latest in the issue:
The CEO may suspend or remove for cause a participant in any group (including the AB and TAG), where cause includes failure to meet the any of the requirements on individual behavior in (a) this Process (and in particular the CEPC), (b) or the Membership Agreement, (c) or applicable laws.

Main branch, claimed to be up to date:
The Director may take disciplinary action, including suspending or removing for cause a participant in any group (including the AB and TAG) if serious and/or repeated violations, such as failure to meet the requirements of this process (where repeated attempts to address these violations have not resolved the situation) or violation of the membership agreement or applicable laws, occur. Refer to the Guidelines to suspend or remove participants from groups.

Director-free, same as Process2020 and thus claimed to be out of date with respect to main:
The CEO may suspend or remove for cause a participant in any group (including the AB and TAG), where cause includes failure to meet the requirements of this process, the membership agreement, or applicable laws.

To my eye, the current Main branch text is a bit long, fails to mention the CEPC, and is in German, with a long parenthetical phrase inserted before the active verb that you really would like to know, written. But I can’t work out why it differs from the text proposed in the issue.

Basically, I want to close the issue and clean up, and can’t work out where we are, and thus how.
