Webex at <https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Member/internal-w3process/2019May/0000.html> IRC is #w3process Log of prior meeting at <https://www.w3.org/2020/05/27-w3process-irc> Usual meeting time: SECOND and FOURTH WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH AT 7AM PACIFIC Overall purpose: final tweaks to Process 2020. The AC informal review <https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-w3process/2020Apr/0002.html> closed on the 31st May, so our “high water mark” for issues is #408 (#409 and #410 do not seem like they can be, or were intended to be, addressed in P2020). 1) Assign scribe, etc., 2) Agenda bash. 3) Discuss and close-out old issues. 3.1) Neither we nor the AB closed discussion on "Candidate Recommendation" is no longer an accurate term <https://github.com/w3c/w3process/issues/402> The question in the title — nomenclature — is probably not pressing. But there is actually more in there. Please read and come ready to discuss and reach consensus: * do we need to do something in 2020? * if so, what, specifically? * see also #406 below 3.3) We’re still waiting for PSIG on #403 <https://github.com/w3c/w3process/issues/403>? Can we land without them? 3.4) #405 <https://github.com/w3c/w3process/issues/405> is about boilerplate and should land soon, but is not needed to finalize the process text. 3.5) #406 Section 6.2 does not acknowledge Perpetual CRs <https://github.com/w3c/w3process/issues/406> I think maybe this spun off from #402. We need to close this at this meeting. 4) Issues created since the last meeting that are P2020 <https://github.com/w3c/w3process/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+created%3A%3E%3D2020-05-27>. One at the time of writing. 4.1) #408 Name for Proposed Changes under patent review <https://github.com/w3c/w3process/issues/408> * Please come ready to close with specific process text suggestions (if any). The usual closers: 5) Next meeting. Wed June 10th. 6) Any other business. David Singer Manager, Software Standards, Apple Inc.
