DRAFT agenda for the Process Call, Feb 14th 2018, 9am Pacific

Full Webex Information is on our Mail Archives <https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Member/internal-w3process/2018Jan/0000.html> (member only accessible, email me if this is a problem)

IRC is #w3process

Log of Jan meeting at <https://www.w3.org/2018/01/10-w3process-irc>. Do we have minutes?

1) Assign scribe, etc., [deferred from Jan] introduce the incoming editor, thank the outgoing editor

2) Tell each other how much we love process management, specially on Valentine’s day.

3) Congratulate ourselves that Process2018 is in effect <https://www.w3.org/2018/Process-20180201/>, and ask the editor(s) to start clearing Editorial Issues (and telling us when they are done).

4) [Deferred from January] Review the outgoing editor’s status and pull requests <https://github.com/w3c/w3process/pulls> (Chaals)

5) Identify priority issues for 2019, etc. from those open. Ideally we tag editorial issues and have the editor deal with them, and we tag our 2019 Candidates with the tag Process2019Candidate and an assignee.

Last meeting we started on these:

5.1) AB-nominated 2019 candidates <https://github.com/w3c/w3process/labels/ABProcess2019Candidate>

We discussed #67 in January, so we resume here with #79.

5.2) Other non-editorial non-question open issues <https://github.com/w3c/w3process/issues?utf8=✓&q=is%3Aopen+-label%3A%22Editorial+improvements%22+-label%3Aquestion+-label%3AABProcess2019Candidate>

Please triage some of these offline…

5) Review assigned issues: <https://github.com/w3c/w3process/issues/assigned/*>
  Leonie: #2
  Dave: #17
  Natasha: #24, #60
  Wendy: #67
  Chaals: #83, #91

On #17, Jeff said Defer #17 (CGs) until we figure out #79 (LS); we agreed it’s for Process2019, and we agreed we need a pointer to the CG/BG processes in the document, and that they fall under the general provisions of the process (e.g. that the Director can dismiss). #79 is “Living Standards” and active at the AB; see <https://www.w3.org/wiki/AB/2018_Priorities#Living_Standards> and the two discussion pages linked therefrom.

6) Next meeting. Mar 14th overlaps the AB meeting in China, we need to re-schedule. I can’t go one week earlier, how about Feb 28th?

7) Any other business.
