w3process-ISSUE-164 (Appeal Cleanup): Clean up the description of Appeals throughout the Process Document [Process Document] http://www.w3.org/community/w3process/track/issues/164 Raised by: Steve Zilles On product: Process Document The terminology and completeness of the various appeal processes is inconsistent, incomplete and somewhat confusing. The language used to describe what can be appealed, by whom and to whom is inconsistent and flawed. For example, there are three categories of appeal: of Working Group Decisions, of Member Submission rejections and Advisory Committee appeals. These are not clearly distinguished in the text. See https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-w3process/2015Mar/0076.html for a list of all the places appeals are discussed.
