w3process-ISSUE-145 (W3Chair...): Clean up mentions of W3C Chair, COO etc [Process Document] http://www.w3.org/community/w3process/track/issues/145 Raised by: Charles McCathie Nevile On product: Process Document The current Process mentions the W3C Chair in a few places (mostly as the putative "normal" chair appointed by the Team for things like AC meetings. This role hasn't existed for a decade or so. It also mentions the COO (which does exist). But the definitions of these don't play any practical role in applying the Process. We should at the very least update them, but in Chaals' opinion, just eliminate them as internal details about how the Team manages itself.
