w3process-ISSUE-105: Please ensure PatPol / Process "binding" described as normative. [Patent Policy] http://www.w3.org/community/w3process/track/issues/105 Raised by: Ian Jacobs On product: Patent Policy Last July I sent [1] a comment about the document: ' - 7.1 Maturity Levels. You have this Note: "Last Call Candidate Recommendation is the state referred to in the W3C Patent Policy [PUB33] as "Last Call Working Draft". A "Note" suggests "informative" to me, while this binding must be normative. I suggest a new subsection 7.1.1 that explicitly describes the relationship between the patent policy and these definitions.' I still believe it is important that this binding between LC and CR be more normative than a Note. Ian [1] https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Team/ab/2013JulSep/0028.html
