I'm sorry that I didn't send this feedback on [1] earlier, I've been busy. {Section 3 General Policies for W3C Groups} > A group charter MAY limit the number of individuals representing a W3C Member (or group of related Members). Perhaps this should say <MAY limit the number (possibly as a proportion)> instead of just <the number>. > Action items available (after) three days 24 hours > Minutes available (after) two weeks 48 hours I'm assuming these aren't written as "business hours" (which would be 3/6 work days excluding weekends). Should weekends be considered? As a scribe, and one who tries to fix up minutes, if someone places a meeting on a Friday, I probably can't get to it before Monday, and it's likely that I'll only look into doing it on Tuesday, as I may have to do work on Monday to pick up things that I didn't get to on Friday. > comments by email from participants who were unable to attend a scheduled meeting, s/,/, and/ > comments by email from meeting attendees who chose not to speak out during a meeting (e.g., so they could confer later with colleagues or for cultural reasons). > The absent participant MUST inform the Chair in writing who is acting as proxy, with written instructions on the use of the proxy. is <in writing> defined to include digital communication? > A W3C Member or Invited Expert MAY resign from a group. The Team will establish administrative procedures for resignation. See section 4.2. of the W3C Patent Policy [PUB33] for information about obligations remaining after resignation from certain groups. As I have noted elsewhere, this document doesn't handle death/disappearance. I think this section is probably the best place for it to be covered.
