RE: [voiceinteraction] upcoming calls and FW: Initial schedule for TPAC breakouts ready

That’s right – the hope was that people in different time zones would be able to find one time that was convenient.

Note that if your time zone is west of UTC, the day will be October 18, because the meeting starts at 12:00 midnight UTC on the 19th.

Thank you Debbie.

I saw we'll have 2 sessions scheduled

1. October 19, 2021 2:00 AM-3:00 AM UTC+2

2. October 20, 2021 5:00 PM-6:00 PM UTC+2

While the session on Tuesday will be too early for me, I should be able to attend the one on Wednesday.

Dirk

Note that our call schedule is changing for the weeks of October 18 and 25 because of the virtual W3C Technical Plenary Meeting.

1. On October 20, the normal call will be replaced by a W3C breakout session on "Next Directions for Voice and the Web". Our earlier proposed session on voice interoperability has been merged with another proposed session, so the topics will be a little more general. You can find more information and the registration information in the links below. This session will be at the normal call time. As the message below notes, the session is open to the public, so if you have any colleagues who might be interested, feel free to forward the registration information to them. This session will actually be presented twice., in order to accommodate different time zones. The first session will be at 12:00 a.m. UTC on the 19th. You can also attend that session if it's more convenient, but this will be at the normal time.
2. The next week we'll have a group meeting on October 27 at our usual time. This meeting will be open to W3C Technical Plenary attendees as well as members of our group. The topics will be the kinds of discussions we have at our regular meetings.
3. The next regularly scheduled call will be November 10.
4. The following meeting would normally take place two weeks later, on November 24, but this is the day before the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday, so we'll cancel that meeting.

The two weeks of October 18 and 25 will also include a lot of meetings besides ours that you'll be able to attend if you're interested.
Here's the overview of the whole two weeks https://www.w3.org/2021/10/TPAC/Overview.html
