Deborah, There was a recent discussion between several W3C member organisations, triggered by a suggestion from Terence Eden of HM Gov. The result was a new CG - the Voice Assistant Standardisation CG. http://www.w3.org/community/voice-assistant/ Belatedly, we found this Voice Interaction CG, and now want to check that the new CG isn't going to cause confusion or duplicate the work already being done here. The intent of the Voice Assistant Standardisation (VAS) CG is to look at the possibility of standardising the way apps (Skills etc.) are developed. Based on this and the description of the Voice Interaction (VI) CG, it seems that this CG has a wider remit, encompassing the UX and interaction of VA apps etc.? If you can let me know what you think, we can hold off spinning up activities in the VAS CG until we're sure there's no significant overlap. Thanks.
