Hi I am thinking about proposing a new schema.org type for poetry, fiction, and other types of creative writing, as a subType of schema.org/Article, perhaps with an additional property that can be used to classify what type of creative writing it is (e.g. poem, haiku, sonnet, short story, fan fiction, etc.). As a subtype of schema.org/Article the new Type would inherit the pagination, pageEnd, pageStart, and wordCount properties, as well a number of relevant and useful properties from schema.org/CreativeWork (author, copyrightHolder, isPartOf, and many more). Before I start drafting out a proposal I wanted to solicit the list's knowledge and advice: * Are there any other properties that might be needed? * Are there any existing standards for describing pieces of creative writing that we should examine that might suggest other new properties that might be needed? * Is there a better name for this proposed new Type than schema.org/CreativeWriting ? * Are there any _specialist_ controlled vocabularies for fiction/poetry available as Linked Open Data that publishers might want to use with this new Type? Regards, Paul
