Has anyone ever mentioned that there are way too many slots on
CreativeWork? :-P

I am trying to figure out if the start and end dates that are now available
on Periodical are enough to handle changes in editor, and gaps in
publication. I think they might do the trick.
The same thing might work for author on book series where the author
changes (eg "The Wheel of Time" and "Dune").

There's a lot of redundant information required for  values that are the
same for every item in a series or subseries ,  as there's no available
mechanism for default inheritance from prototypes.  That's a penguin for
another day...
