Greetings all About a year ago I started a project which I thought I posted to the list (but now not sure I did) working with a team of students in India on an exercise in web information collection/publishing, and we are precisely working on temple metadata See a description of the group exercise here https://sites.google.com/site/webbasedinformationmanagement/group-exercises?pli=1 Having found that a schema already exists, http://schema.org/HinduTemple we planned to use it, however after a cursory evaluation, the existing schema is not a satisfactory representation of a hindu temple in the sense that some elements are missing --------------------------------------------------------------------------- as conceptual background for this work, note the image (Hideaki Takeda) aspect theory.JPG<https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B5XeDqbLLqHScFppT090OGlYd2c/edit?usp=drive_web> and IEEE Viewpoints Modelling http://www.cs.vu.nl/~hans/publications/y2006/JSSviewpoints.pdf ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- we wondered how can we contribute to refine/improve this particular schema and maybe contribute a methodological approach to advance schema.orgfurther Danbri pointed we should submit a draft schema/proposal with edits amendments which we plan to do this semester //I have set aside some time to work on this project end of this month (february/march) to coincide with Shivaratri, an importan festival held in the town each year// it would be great if other people from this community would help us come up with a more refined knowledge representation method and would like to contribute to this work, pls get in touch I aim to have a paper by the end of this semester or so Look forward cheers PDM
