Paul,

It looks like you'll need some more work on a plugin for Motorsports
domain.  I would recommend working with
http://www.fia.com/en-GB/mediacentre/Pages/MediaCentreHome.aspx
They have championship standings, timing information, lap charts,
classifications, land speed records of all types, etc.
