Distance

Distance (at http://schema.org/Distance) says that "Properties that take
Distances as values are of the form '<Number> <Length unit of measure>'.
E.g., '7 ft'"

 

This type could be enormously useful in a wide variety of contexts with
respect to all kinds of Places, but it appears that there are no properties
that take distance as values (!)  As it is, one could make a distance
assertion, but not with respect to any Place at all.  Odd.

 

Or am I missing something?
