Re: Data Integrity EdDSA Cryptosuites v1.0 Candidate Recommendation Snapshot ready for consideration

Hi Manu,

This is an admin response, nothing on the content…

We will have to decide, as a WG, whether we would publish all our CR-s on the same day. If that is the case, the question is whether we issue one request to W3C with 6+ transitions or whether we issue a series of separate requests (I have just asked Philippe what the preference is under the new publication process, I presume we will have an answer at TPAC).

(Note that, due to the multiplicity of cross-links, I would be in favor of synching all the publications. But this is my personal opinion, not an official W3C statement.)

A practical issue, regardless: the last round of the publication process requires some practical steps (publishing all documents on the W3C site, issuing and coordinating the official publication requests with the Webmaster, etc); these steps are to be made by yours truly. It is important for me to be around on the few days preceding the publication itself. However, due to family reasons, I am mostly out between the 25th and the 28th of September, so a publication on the 28 might be difficult. Additionally, I have a (very small) medical intervention on the 12th of October, so that date should be avoided as well. Bottom line: we will have to establish the final publishing dates when we have all in hands.

Cheers

Ivan
