Great question, David!

This came up at the spring IIW, too. I do think that it's possible to use
CHAPI mediator & wallet selection for other protocols (like OIDC)!
This can be currently done with the mediator as-is, though the downside
there is - some wallets on a user's list may not understand the OIDC query.
