Call for Consensus for transferring ownership of the WebVTT spec to be wholly owned by the TTWG

Hi all,

As discussed during yesterday's TTWG call, I'm sending out a Call for
Consensus based on the proposal:

Proposal: Transfer ownership of the WebVTT specification to be wholly owned
by the Timed Text Working Group rather than jointly owned with the Text
Track Community Group.

This will simplify maintenance of the spec a bit particularly as we look
towards updating it to a Candidate Recommendation Snapshot and ultimately a
Technical Recommendation.

Please indicate your position by replying to this message (either to all or
directly to me).

The review period for this CfC ends on Friday, April 10th, to allow a bit
more time for this.
