TTWG participants, The current TTWG Charter [1] will expire on 31 March 2018. Therefore the TTWG needs to be rechartered ASAP. Back in December, I had drafted an initial version of a new charter [2], and had asked a couple of times to have it added to our weekly telecon [3]. Participants said they prefer not to discuss administrative issues during the calls, to focus mainly on technical issues. Therefore I has asked that the draft charter be discuss using Github issues or the TTWG list [3]. I don't know if people have reviewed this draft, but it seems not much issues were raised on Github nor on the mailing list. In parallel, I had scheduled a telecon with the two co-chair to discuss it. Unfortunatly on of the co-chair couldn't attend the scheduled call, and the call was cancelled. I had a conversation with PlH a few days ago and he mainly said: If the group doesn't provide a new charter by March 28th, to have it reviewed by W3M, it is unlikely we will be granted a charter extension, and give a bit of more time, while it is approved by ACs. He added that if the TTWG is not extended after March 31st, it is unlikely the group will be allowed to publish documents in TR space after that date. Therefore I propose again that the TTWG charter be discussed during our next telecon Thursday march 22nd, to produce a document available for W3M before March 28th. Meanwhile please review the draft and please send your suggestions (new deliverable, milestones, etc.).
