FYI, The W3C Management and W3C Advisory Board approved a document to characterize Best Practices for Processing of Formal Objections: Processing of Formal Objections https://www.w3.org/2017/12/formal-objections.html This document outlines best practices used for complex cases that the Director delegates to another individual. This is pursuant to the W3C Advisory Board ISSUE-25: Look at formal objections disposition process [1]. A link to this document, which is public, has now been added to the Chair Guidebook [2].
