Hi all, As I understand issue #209 [1] against ttml1, there is a desire to fill gaps between two adjacent lines with the background color used . It is however not clear whether this is purely a presentation processor preference (as suggested in [2] ?) and/or also an authorial preference. If it is the latter, then we should file an issue against IMSC and TTML2. In particular, it would be awkward for an author to create subtitles with the expectations that the video appears between the lines, only to see the space filled in some implementations. In any event, +1 to Andreas' suggestion to make this topic a key part of the discussion in tomorrow's telecon.
