My Resignation from the TPWG

Dear Jeff,

It's been some time since we've spoken and I hope this note finds you well. After some personal and professional deliberation, I've decided to resign my "invited expert" position on the Tracking Protection Working Group. I'll save you the bulk of my rationale and thought process in coming to this decision, and just thank you, the W3C staff, the Chairs (and past Chairs) and the Working Group for including me and considering my input and industry experience over the past 2+ years. I'll only share, that in my professional opinion, the industry has in large part solved the stated "problem" in the time it's taken the TPWG to draft a spec-- which is to state, I believe the group is now attempting to solve a largely solved problem. To that end, I hope you might reconsider the need for this effort going forward.

Again, it's been my sincere pleasure working with you, staff, the Chairs and the other Working Group members. I hope we will re-engage on other technology related initiatives in the future.

Best Regards,

Chris Mejia
