Welcome to the Tracking Protection Working Group mailing list! The mail archive for public-tracking is publicly readable and archived. This mailing list is for discussion of tracking protection topics, including announcements. Posting privileges will be restricted to subscribers only. Subscription requests may be sent to public-tracking-request@w3.org. For those new to the W3C: during conference calls we will simultaneously communicate by IRC. In order to be recognized to speak, the procedure is to add yourself to the queue on IRC (akin to raising your hand in person). This avoids the problem of people speaking over each other on large calls. You can use your favorite IRC client, or use the web interface: http://irc.w3.org/?channels=dnt The web interface is particularly useful if you have a corporate firewall that blocks some ports. IRC configuration details: Server: irc.w3.org Username: [whatever you pick, ideally your name] Port: 6665 /* NOTE: not the default IRC port! */ Channel: #dnt If you are unfamiliar with IRC please test your configuration prior to the first conference call. Thank you for your interest in the TPWG! Aleecia Aleecia M. McDonald // Senior Privacy Researcher @ Mozilla // w3c@aleecia.com
