We are also the key group focused on new privacy rules for adolescents, which is now being addressed by Congress (Markey/Barton), the FTC and the White House. Our "Fair Digital Marketing to Youth" framework is embodied in the Markey/Barton bill. The EU's framework on minors (those under 18) calls for a range of special protections, including privacy. We look forward to participating in establishing appropriate DNT rules for youth. Links below.
