Hello! I know it's been a couple of months since this list was established, and it's taken longer than we wanted to get started with TSL discussions. That said, Karl and I are ready to get this kicked off! BEGIN PROPOSAL 1. What we'd like to do is use this forum to discuss and resolve issues with the Tracking Selection Lists spec. 2. When we feel like we've made some progress on issues (exact definition of "progress" is TBD), we'd like to circulate our work back to the larger Tracking Protection WG for more feedback. 3. After the WG has been able to catch up with our progress and provide feedback, we'd like to get our spec out to the world as a Working Draft. We have an Editor's Draft on the public W3C server @ http://dvcs.w3.org/hg/tracking-protection/raw-file/tip/ED-tracking-tsl.html. If you're interested in participating, I'd strongly encourage you to read the spec. Karl and some other folks at Opera have done a great job identifying some issues. Certainly there are more. I'd like to start discussing some of these issues on this mailing list. Similar to how the larger WG works, we'll break each issue out into a separate email thread. At first, we'll try to just manage the issues without the W3C Issue Tracker stuff. If that gets out of hand, we'll get that in place as well. If you have a new issue that isn't covered in the spec, feel free to just start a new mail thread to discuss. Unless I hear a strong objection, I'm going to start "seeding" the issues that Karl & co. have already identified. END PROPOSAL Thank you so much in advance for your participation! Andy Zeigler
