https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=24896 Bug ID: 24896 Summary: Regions: allow for vertical regions, too Product: TextTracks CG Version: unspecified Hardware: PC OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: WebVTT Assignee: dave.null@w3.org Reporter: silviapfeiffer1@gmail.com QA Contact: public-texttracks@w3.org CC: philipj@opera.com, silviapfeiffer1@gmail.com Vertical regions need to allow the "vertical:" region setting. In addition, we should probably rename the "width:" region setting to "size:" to be conformant with cue settings. As per discussions with Victor, "line" settings on region cues really don't make sense because we have region and viewport anchors to place cues at offsets and because there isn't really a use case to having cues placed in explicit lines inside a region (placement should be automatic either by scrolling or by finding the first empty line). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the QA Contact for the bug.
