Hi folks, One of the pain points of accepting external contributions in the web-platform-tests repository has been dealing with the CLA (and the infamous Grant Type II form which requires a W3C account). Thanks to the help of Rigo and Wendy, we were able to streamline the process to its bear minimum. The plan is to piggyback on GitHub's built-in Contributing Guidelines mechanism[1] to prominently display a link to the CLA when the contributor makes a pull request. The CLA states that by contributing to the repository you are giving the necessary rights to W3C. There's a pull request[2] for these changes which should be pulled in shortly. Of course the documentation we're working on will also reflect these changes. Thanks, --tobie --- [1]: https://github.com/blog/1184-contributing-guidelines [2]: https://github.com/w3c/web-platform-tests/pull/261
