gathering HTTP and URI / URL / IRI tests

Although not explicitly mentioned in the charter of the Interest Group, I think it would be useful to gather web testing for HTTP and URI/URL/IRI technology and arguably in scope, at least by the wording.  Some tests might require different infrastructure for running them than in http://www.w3.org/wiki/Testing/Requirements . 

Opinions about extending the requirements and encouraging HTTP and URI/IRI/URL tests in the test infrastructures?
