Introduction - Luca Tarrini

Hi,

I am Luca Tarrini and I am working as engineer of Domotics Lab (Institute of
Sciences and Technologies of Information) in Italy. My current interest is
the development of web services in home environment. In fact the current
research is the intersection of Web Service and Semantic Web. In "Home
Automation Technologies and Standards" project with Microsoft, Telecom
Italia, Thinkware Corporation, CECED (European Committee of Domestic
Equipment Manufacturers) and other, we want integration and interoperability
among white and brown goods. In this context the rule of semantic web
service can play an important role and a domestic appliance can expose its
services in manner richer.
