Dear Sir/Madam, Please find attached the position paper for Semantic Web Life sciences workshop I have been working in Semantic Web and Biomedical informatics technologies since past couple of years. I have been closely following work in OWL standardization and worked on same at IBM T. J Watson. I am also involved in Protege OWL based plugin development. Currently, I am a PhD student at Biomedical informatics deparment at the Columbia University. I believe there are several opportunities for applying Semantic Web based solutions in several of Biomedical projects here and the workshop would give me a broad perspective on the state of the art in the field. I believe this is an excellent opportunity for me to interact and share ideas with the some of the leaders in the field. Thanks, Chintan Chintan O.
